PILATES 10-20-30 CHALLENGE

I thought about telling you all my whole long story about what all has gone on the past three years that has put a huge damper on my teaching, my working out and, being a woman, my confidence.  But, really, all anyone needs to know is this....I got my butt kicked physically and it drained me emotionally.  And guess what?  I got fat.

I have been busy with new designs as well as preparing the launch of my new website.  While I am so excited to present this to you, I have been so embarrassed about the physical condidtion I am now in.   Now, I know, there are many, many people who, for one reason or another, have gotten off track.  The embarrassment for me was that I know better!  Therefore,  I was simply too intimidated to get my fat butt back into a Pilates studio.  The more I put it off, the faster the pounds piled on and here I am.  What to do?

Turns out, our beloved Joe provided the obvious answer. In 10 sessions, you'll feel better, 20 sessions, you'll look better, 30 sessions you'll have a whole new body.  Duh!   So, that is how the 10-20-30 Challenge came to be.

My darling aunt Sally is taking the challenge with me and we are going to prove Joe right.  The challenge includes the following:

  • 3 sessions a week
  • 1 Equipment class, one mat class and one home class with a video, props or whatever.
  • High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) 3-4 times a week
  • Watching it with food.  More on that later.

To keep us on track, we have 3 awesome professionals in Dallas to help us.

  • Veronica Combs at Telos Performance Center
  • Donna Cooper at Cooper Clinic
  • Kerri Nelson(my PT) at Pilates Connection

We are putting our measurements up here and will update them after 10, 20 and 30 sessions and let you know if Joe was right!

I thought perhaps some of you would like to take the challenge too...or impelent something similar at your studio.  Therefore, I have made the Challenge  T-Shirts available for you.  If you have a group doing this, there is a discount for 12.

Send some Mo-Joe our way and let me know if you want to take the challenge with us...we'd love to hear from you!
